This year around it’s going to be crazier and *cough* I’ll be going for it again! We had awesome Katy Perry & Wondergirls the last time around that got my and my brother really excited!

Here is why MTV World Stage 2011 is going to be FAB! The lineup speaks for itself.

Are you serious? I can’t beleve these dudes are actually going to be performing here LIVE! The first time I got excited about 30Seconds to Mars was when Jared Leto hosted MTV Asia Awards! Jared is definitely in most girl’s book of celebrity crushes.

30 seconds of Mars has always been one of my Must-Listen-To- Bands-When-Working because their music just pumps my adrenaline up a few notches. Did I mention how sexy it is when Jared starts to scream?

This is one of my favs from them – The Kill (Bury Me),quite an old song from them but my all time fav angsty song! I hope they’ll play it even thought it may not be their latest songs.

Oh Oh What are you waiting forrrrrrrr~ This is one those tunes that gets stuck in your head forever and it also blends well in your daily dramas of life. You know how there’s always background music to certain scenes in our favourite movies. THIS is THE song that plays in the background most of the time in my daily life.

Just imagine.

Happy times – You’re having an awesome day, you’re sipping awesome coffee…* Animal (The song) starts playing* You could instantly wrap yourself around the cheerful beat of the song. Happiness level increases. Nice.

Times of disappointment - You’re emotional, so emotional. You roll in bed till 12noon on a Saturday..then you look out the window. The rain is pouring. You look a little further and you see someone running towards a taxi. *Song starts to play* BOOM! You’re hit with a dose of encouragement to bring out the animal in you. What are you waiting for? What are you waiting for?~ At this point, you will be so encouraged you’re spring outta bed and head out to meet your friends, so what if it’s raining. Nice.

I love this song and look forward to more of Neon Trees’ performances!

POP SHUVIT

Must I remind you how frigging awesome Marabahaya is? Malaysians, shame on you if you don’t know this song!

This local flavour has been around longer that I can remember. I’m glad they are still coming up with new albums to make Malaysians proud! I heard they are doing really well overseas too, especially in Japan. Now sure from whom I heard that from but hey, I’m always supportive of local music!

BEAST

I’ve never heard of BEAST before this but I know from my K-POP freak of a brother that they are really big not just in Korea but all over the world! I can totally see why looking at their dance moves and catchy tunes, looking forward to be dancing to their songs at the show. It’s a good thing MTV decided to bring a Korean boy band instead of a girl cos there’s more eye candy for us ladies! (Without having to feel so insecure watching purrfect Korean female artists perform)

Was exploring town the other day and found this interesting little cafe, Meeples.

They are a boardgame cafe, bringing gaming back to its old school ways.

This is how the cafe looks like from a 5 megapixel camera.

Check out their extensive game collection! Most of the game here are European games and not all of them could be found at Toys r Us.

i felt a lil ashamed of myself for i think I only know like 15 boardgames in my life!

Went on a tour around that place and was brought upstairs to find MORE games! The games upstairs are for sale and most of them are pretty reasonably priced, a little above 100 bucks.

Some of these boardgames are really interesting!

And check this, the offline version of Starcraft!

How cool is that?

Boardgame inventors are geniuses! I just hope I’m able to properly play these awesome games. The only game I recognize from the many games displayed is this – Apples to Apples! The nuffies had a lot of fun playing this on the cruise and during our Christmas pot luck!

If I was an Autobot, I would want to be OPTIMUS PRIME! The leader of the pack, the ever reliable and honorable role model for all autobots.

I would create a world without lies. 100% transparency of every single human being because I’m tired of facing fake people around me. I’m probably the most transparent person I know ( go ahead and cringe if you do not agree) because I believe in treating others the way you’d want to be treated. However, we all know that this ain’t always the case. There are always people who are out there to manipulate you to their own gains.

Whatever happened to honestly? Integrity?

Went for a beauty workshop some weeks back and I got the opportunity to try out this awesome product.

Beauty workshop was held @ the Loreal office with a bunch of beautiful Nuffnang female bloggers. The product everyone got to bring home is….

12 hour perfect protection of your skin with SPF 35. This compact beauty doesn’t just cover but preserves the beauty of your skin. Whats more is the Aura Bright technology infused in it helps your skin appear vibrant, bright and natural.

The sponge that comes with it is useful on both sides. There is velvety side for application and a silky side that you may use to polish your skin to perfection. A challenge I face when using compact foundation is to avoid looking like a Geisha and this silky surface of the sponge really helps with creating a natural look. Of course, the tone of your compact has to be suitable to your skin. Mine is P0-02 (P = Pink based).

This is how I basically look every morning on the LRT. I have absolutely no traces of make up on my face because I’m always rushing to leave the house. Leaving home bare faced used to be haram (illegal) to me but sleep comes before vanity, sometimes. I like doing my make up in the office as I’m among the earliest ones to reach work everyday. Doesn’t take me forever to get my make up done la ok, max 15 minutes.

This is half of my face fixed and the other half bare, can you see why I need make up so much? What I did was picking up a minimal amount of foundation using the velvety side of the sponge and applied it to my face with soft, swift strokes. I then turned the sponge around and polished my face, in circular motion.

Done my face and now moving on to my eyes. I don’t have my complete set of make up with me the time the photos were taken so will be using only eyeshadow and mascara.

Hello world! (Where is my lipgloss?) I’d do a more proper look with my eyeliner and other stuff but I only have this palette with me now.  Anyway, I’m sure you’d agree with me this is a better face than the first pic.

I definitely look more awake here! The compact foundation looks really natural on my face…unlike my old one which I use with BB cream that made me look like so..

If you were to be observing your life from the view of a spectator watching a film, I wonder what will you be seeing? What will you be hearing? and what judgments would you pass upon yourself?

If I were to be observing my life in a film, I would most probably be writing a movie review that goes something like…

I was hoping for a climax but there wasn’t much.

or

I thought it was a little draggy.

or

There were some interesting bits, some good build up to it but there was just nothing outstanding.

My movie would probably be classified under the B list movies, movies that would probably be shown on the silver screen but definitely no blockbuster. No big budgets, no awesome CG to wow the audience and no action packed drama but an interesting plot nevertheless.

All in all, a decent but could have been much better kind of film. Mediocre.

What’s my biggest fear in life?

Mediocrity

..and unfortunately, my life movie is not that far away from the line of mediocrity.

I’m coming up with a sequel but unlike most sequels, this will (it has to!) be much better than the first. At least I got a good cast this time around, oh we all know the importance of a good cast in movie. The old cast was alright but some actors and actresses who weren’t that good at what they do or too difficult to work with (like Megan Fox) will be dropped out of this sequel.
